Accessible mobility

Hackathon MVP

Senda

Pedestrian routing that accounts for different mobility needs.

Problem

A short walking route is not necessarily an accessible one. Barriers and mobility needs change which paths are useful.

My contribution

Led implementation of the Next.js and FastAPI product, profile-aware Valhalla routing, live citizen barrier reports, and AI-assisted route guidance.

Approach, outcome & limitations

Approach

Used profile-aware routing and citizen reports to make accessibility part of route selection, with AI assistance around the routing workflow.

Outcome & limitations

Built an MVP for HackFox 2026. Accessibility coverage and real-world route safety have not been independently validated.

A system for documenting political gender-based violence online.

Problem

Organizing potentially harmful online material calls for searchable evidence and careful human review.

My contribution

Built and deployed the Next.js, FastAPI, PostgreSQL/pgvector, and Redis architecture on AWS, using synthetic demonstration data and human-review safeguards.

Approach, outcome & limitations

Approach

Combined relational storage and vector retrieval, keeping human review in the workflow instead of treating model output as a final judgment.

Outcome & limitations

Delivered an institutional MVP. The demonstration uses synthetic data; no production adoption or model-accuracy claim is made.

An invoice-financing prototype for small businesses.

Problem

Small businesses can face a gap between issuing an invoice and receiving payment.

My contribution

Led development of the Next.js product and Arbitrum smart-contract integrations for a decentralized invoice-financing prototype.

Approach

Connected a web interface to smart contracts to demonstrate the financing workflow end to end.

Outcome & limitations

The team placed first in the Arbitrum Innovation Track at Ethereum México 2025. This is an unaudited hackathon prototype, not a financial service.

people in mind.

I’m a software engineer based in Tijuana, working across web, mobile, and applied AI. I’ve built internal tools, contributed to a startup beta, and developed prototypes in national hackathons.

I care about how a system works and what it makes possible for the person using it. That means explaining tradeoffs, being honest about limitations, and keeping human judgment in the loop.

I completed the degree requirements for Software and Emerging Technologies Engineering at UABC Tijuana; degree issuance is pending. Outside engineering, I make music and play piano.

Pitch Jams

Founding Software Engineer · Part-Time Equity Project

Built the beta mobile and web application in an Expo monorepo targeting iOS, Android, and web from one React Native and TypeScript codebase. Prepared releases through TestFlight and Google Play Console, designed access-control logic for four subscription plans, and contributed Django REST API endpoints, data models, and authentication flows.

Built an internal asset inventory management system using Next.js, Firebase Auth, and Firestore. Integrated the Google Workspace Admin SDK through Cloud Functions for role-based access control, with real-time queries and Google SSO.

Developed a React, Express, and PostgreSQL student tracking system for psychopedagogists. Implemented JWT authentication, resolved stability issues, and documented the system for future maintainers.
